I chose oils for my products that are easily absorbed into the skin tissue, providing better protection while allowing your skin to breath. No mineral oil is used. Mineral oil is derived from petroleum and acts as a barrier on your skin much like Vaseline* and baby oil. Bacteria may become trapped under some of these skin care products. This also means that your natural skin oils and nutrients are not being absorbed effectively impeding therapeutic gain.  Mineral oil also aids in the absorption of harmful UV rays.
